Our jackets are designed uniquely. At POINTER & HOUND, we’ve created our own sizing and fit from the ground up - because standard sizing just doesn’t cater for most breeds.
These aren’t stock-standard jackets, and you won’t find them to our fit and measurements anywhere else. They’re made exclusively for us, with every detail - from the precise zipper placement to the jacket length and proportions - carefully developed to ensure a better, more comfortable fit.
With eight sizes to choose from, there’s a fit for almost every dog. After selling out in record time in 2024, they’re finally back - now in four colours and available only at POINTER & HOUND.

Crafted with a high quality waterproof and windproof exterior paired with a soft fleece lining, our jackets ensure your furry friend stays dry and warm in any weather. While the exterior may soak up a little water in heavy rain - there is no way it will get through, meaning your dog is 100% warm and dry underneath the jacket! The adjustable chest piece allows you to pull the jacket where needed in order to achieve the perfect fit for your dog, regardless of their physique.
For added versatility, the high neck can be cinched with a convenient bungee cord, providing a customisable fit. We’ve designed these jackets to be slightly longer than standard options, making them ideal for long and tall dogs. You can also shorten the jacket if its too long by using the bungee cord on the back!
The zipper feature allows for easy leash attachment to a collar or harness underneath the jacket, ensuring convenience during walks. Plus, optional straps leg straps at the back provide extra security, keeping the jacket in place.
These jackets perfectly balance style and practicality - our well thought-out design has been popular with hundreds of happy customers so far!
Check our studio images for accurate colour representation. Each jacket also features a reflective strip down each side for added visibility. We recommend ordering your dog’s usual size, but if you're unsure, please feel free to message or email us.
For reference, Toby, our GSP, is 34kg and wears an L, but can fit the XL too with it adjusted in, while Maple, our Mini Dachshund, is 5.5kg and wears an XS or S adjusted in because her back is so long.

Washing instructions: Cold / warm gentle wash in the washing machine, it is recommended to put in our wash bag if possible to avoid any damage to the clips. Alternatively you could hand wash. Do not tumble dry.

We got Stella and Evie new jackets. The material is gorgeous. The fit, brilliant. Putting them on, easy as. Evie thought she was the needs knees. The jackets allow them to freely move, keep the wind and the rain off them, and they look good stirring down the road. The little zip for the lead - awesome, the bands around their hind legs - comfortable and the ruffle for the tail practical and cute! It’s 4 paws (and a 5 Star review) from us
Love this, perfect fit and design. My girl is a pointer x Labrador (size large) bit worried at fist as leg straps looked tight around nature area but grateful leg straps were adjustable. Would recommend.

I had been searching for a while on the internet for Ted and his friend Poppy's rain jackets. Both Bernese Mountain Dogs. I always came back to Pointer and Hound. I was not disappointed with the purchase (Poppy is yet to see hers). The jacket fits Ted really well and stays in place. Ted is rocking his new jacket and turning heads while walking through the city. He spends 3 days a week in the office in the city and it’s a relief not to deal with a soggy dog in the office on wet days. .
We have a particularly long corgi, Dash, who gets a very wet tummy on walks, so we wanted a jacket that would fit him and keep his tummy dry. This jacket works really well, we've come back from walks with the outside of the jacket soaking wet but Dash's fur is dry. It's already come in useful! Plus Dash looks so cute in it!
