Unique measurements, considered zip placement, and a longer back length deliver superior coverage and a better fit on a wider range of breeds - including deep-chested or long-backed dogs that standard off-the-shelf styles often miss.

Built for real weather, it pairs a durable waterproof, windproof outer with a TPU barrier and a warm polo-fleece lining, keeping your dog cosy and protected in rain, wind, and cold. Multiple adjustment points help to create a truly tailored fit, and the extended size range caters for most breeds.

Not to be confused with a typical ‘raincoat’ - this jacket is warm, waterproof, and windproof. In heavy rain the outer layer may take on surface water (this is normal), but it won’t soak through the TPU mid-layer, so the fleece lining (and your dog) stay warm and dry underneath. Adjustable leg straps keep the jacket in place without restricting movement, so your dog can run, play, and enjoy the rain - while you skip the messy clean-up afterward. Say goodbye to wet-dog smell and endless towel-drying.

Washing instructions: Cold / warm gentle wash in the washing machine, it is recommended to put in our wash bag if possible to avoid any damage to the clips. Alternatively you could hand wash. Do not tumble dry.

A Cut Above

My Vizsla thinks he is just a cut above the rest in his sharp rain coat. Snug in all the right places. This is my third coat. I hope he has stopped growing out of them!

Great quality!

Leo is not a fan of wearing anything but he does tolerate this jacket. It is thin so not so heavy on him, waterproof works well, the green is a great colour to mask mud smudges and easy to clean. Look lovely which a massive plus! Will soon buy the other jacket for warmth as pleased with this purchase!

Raincoat

Beautifully made. Fits great. I ordered a Large but changed it to an XL before tts order arrived. Customer service was excellent. Coat fits great over their harness and has a back toggle to adjust the fit for one of my Weimaraner ladies. Highly recommended

Beautiful Jacket BUT...

This jacket looked beautiful on my little miniature Dachshund however the reason I have only giving it 2 stars is because although the jacket fits perfectly it tends to move to the side of his body when he walks so Im constantly straighten it and it cannot be tightened anymore. the 2nd reason I gave 2 stars is because we went for a walk in the rain (not even heavy rain) and my little guy was soaked to the skin the rain went right through the jacket. I was very disappointed because the jacket was very expensive and it hasn't lived up to my expectations. maybe the jacket I received was not treated with a waterproof coating but for the price I expected it to be at least somewhat waterproof but it was not. Very disappointed Im afraid.

I'd love to know more so we can get to the bottom of this issue, would you mind answering the below for me? :-)

Regarding the jacket twisting, are you using the leg straps on your mini dachshund? This helps keep the jacket secured in place when they walk / run.

And regarding the waterproofing of the jacket - this sounds like an issue! The fabric we use for our jackets is treated with a TPU waterproof coating in the mid layer - meaning the outer layer will still take on water but it shouldn't soak through to your dog underneath. We find if your dog is wet, it can be because the chest strap isn't tightened properly which allows water in the sides, or water gets up under the sides of their chest - as Dachshunds are so low to the ground, this can happen when walking in puddles / grass!

A good test to make sure the waterproofing on the jacket isn't faulty is to make a small hollow in the jacket - you can put it over a cup for example. Pour a pool of water into that hollow, and wait 15mins or so. We would expect the fleece on the inside to be completely dry - if it isn't, you may have a faulty jacket.
