This jacket looked beautiful on my little miniature Dachshund however the reason I have only giving it 2 stars is because although the jacket fits perfectly it tends to move to the side of his body when he walks so Im constantly straighten it and it cannot be tightened anymore. the 2nd reason I gave 2 stars is because we went for a walk in the rain (not even heavy rain) and my little guy was soaked to the skin the rain went right through the jacket. I was very disappointed because the jacket was very expensive and it hasn't lived up to my expectations. maybe the jacket I received was not treated with a waterproof coating but for the price I expected it to be at least somewhat waterproof but it was not. Very disappointed Im afraid.

Regarding the jacket twisting, are you using the leg straps on your mini dachshund? This helps keep the jacket secured in place when they walk / run.
And regarding the waterproofing of the jacket - this sounds like an issue! The fabric we use for our jackets is treated with a TPU waterproof coating in the mid layer - meaning the outer layer will still take on water but it shouldn't soak through to your dog underneath. We find if your dog is wet, it can be because the chest strap isn't tightened properly which allows water in the sides, or water gets up under the sides of their chest - as Dachshunds are so low to the ground, this can happen when walking in puddles / grass!
A good test to make sure the waterproofing on the jacket isn't faulty is to make a small hollow in the jacket - you can put it over a cup for example. Pour a pool of water into that hollow, and wait 15mins or so. We would expect the fleece on the inside to be completely dry - if it isn't, you may have a faulty jacket.

I've had a lot of trouble finding a harness that is a good fit for our very long girl. They always end up very tight on her armpits.
This one fit perfectly right out of the packaging and is a great colour on her. I also got a lot of helpful and timely advice for sizing. Great customer service, timely freight, good quality.

Such a beautiful harness! Great quality and so much easier to get on and off than previous harness. Fits well now on smallest fittings but should last through until he's fully grown. Love it and so does Chip!
I brought this for my partner's dog and cannot rate it enough!! It's so good for our not so wee boy, especially when he's pulling on the lead. The material is durable yet sleek and tidy (bonus in that it's easy to clean!). The customer service when I accidentally ordered the wrong size was fantastic too! It can be a bit tricky to adjust the straps but that's an easy solution with some patience.

Great collar for Fonzie my 6 yr old rescue Doberman. Love the features on it! Robust and good looking. He gets through collar’s and leads fairly quickly so this one looks like it will stay the course a bit longer!
I was skeptical about these coats as I have purchased so many that just don’t fit. I have 2 Tibetan Terriers, I find that coats that fit in the body are far too long and due to the tail they need the space at the end ( it curls). These coats have lots of adjustments that allows for this. Love Love them. Although just seen a new color.. my bank balance might not
Milo loves his jacket! I originally ordered an XS but that was too big so I ordered the XXS instead and it fit him better
It seems like a nice warm jacket and it feels really nicely made and has withstood his rolling tests (which most don’t)!
So pleased I bought it for him as it’s getting cold and he’s a bit older now so feels it a bit more

The harness was a good fit and Toby did not pull once when we went for a walk, I had clipped the lead to front. Extremely fast delivery as well
