Our jackets are designed uniquely. At POINTER & HOUND, we’ve created our own sizing and fit from the ground up - because standard sizing just doesn’t cater for most breeds.
These aren’t stock-standard jackets, and you won’t find them to our fit and measurements anywhere else. They’re made exclusively for us, with every detail - from the precise zipper placement to the jacket length and proportions - carefully developed to ensure a better, more comfortable fit.
With eight sizes to choose from, there’s a fit for almost every dog. After selling out in record time in 2024, they’re finally back - now in four colours and available only at POINTER & HOUND.

Crafted with a high quality waterproof and windproof exterior paired with a soft fleece lining, our jackets ensure your furry friend stays dry and warm in any weather. While the exterior may soak up a little water in heavy rain - there is no way it will get through, meaning your dog is 100% warm and dry underneath the jacket! The adjustable chest piece allows you to pull the jacket where needed in order to achieve the perfect fit for your dog, regardless of their physique.
For added versatility, the high neck can be cinched with a convenient bungee cord, providing a customisable fit. We’ve designed these jackets to be slightly longer than standard options, making them ideal for long and tall dogs. You can also shorten the jacket if its too long by using the bungee cord on the back!
The zipper feature allows for easy leash attachment to a collar or harness underneath the jacket, ensuring convenience during walks. Plus, optional straps leg straps at the back provide extra security, keeping the jacket in place.
These jackets perfectly balance style and practicality - our well thought-out design has been popular with hundreds of happy customers so far!
Check our studio images for accurate colour representation. Each jacket also features a reflective strip down each side for added visibility. We recommend ordering your dog’s usual size, but if you're unsure, please feel free to message or email us.
For reference, Toby, our GSP, is 34kg and wears an L, but can fit the XL too with it adjusted in, while Maple, our Mini Dachshund, is 5.5kg and wears an XS or S adjusted in because her back is so long.

Washing instructions: Cold / warm gentle wash in the washing machine, it is recommended to put in our wash bag if possible to avoid any damage to the clips. Alternatively you could hand wash. Do not tumble dry.

This colour has an 'XL Wide' size - leftover stock from our initial 2024 batch. The XL wide fits a bit wider than our standard XL size - its a great size for more solid dogs, like Rottweilers or chunky labs. The length is the same as the standard XL, but you can add 10cm to the neck and chest measurements in the chart to get the XL wide sizing. A bargain at $90.00 - only a small amount of stock left! Please note: XL Wide jackets do have the elastic leg straps, but they are not adjustable.

Perfect fit for my pointer! Very snug. Took it out for the first time in the rain, it dries quickly and dirt comes off easily.
I was torn between getting a Large or Xlarge, but went with Large instead. Koda is about 30 kg, back length is 63cm. I like the fit of the large, but when he is sniffing it rides up a little bit in the tail area. So if you want more coverage go for the XL. However it is not a problem for me since he is so active and I don't want things flapping around.
I was also pleasantly surprised how light it is, not bulky at all.
We usually struggle to find a jacket that fits nicely on our Weimaraner with her deep chest and narrow body. This jacket fits perfectly and I love the adjustable options. Beautiful quality product.
Super coat, stays snug on dog, no lifting up at the back when they run round with head down. Fits so well that they can run about in the bush safely. Best dog coats I've had
I’ve struggled to find a good quality coat that’s a good fit for my Cane Corso. This one fits perfectly and I love the adjustability. It’s lightweight and not too bulky yet still warm. Not only that, it looks great!
