Best seller - for a reason. Born from the frustration of poor-fitting coats, the POINTER & HOUND Waterproof Dog Jacket was purpose-built by the founder with a custom pattern that actually fits. Unique measurements, considered zip placement, and a longer back length deliver superior coverage and a better fit on a wider range of breeds - including deep-chested or long-backed dogs that standard off-the-shelf styles often miss.
Built for real weather, it pairs a durable waterproof, windproof outer with a TPU barrier and a warm polo-fleece lining, keeping your dog cosy and protected in rain, wind, and cold. Multiple adjustment points help to create a truly tailored fit, and the extended size range caters for most breeds.
Not to be confused with a typical ‘raincoat’ - this jacket is warm, waterproof, windproof and lightweight. In heavy rain the outer layer may take on surface water (this is normal), but it won’t soak through the TPU mid-layer, so the fleece lining (and your dog) stay warm and dry underneath. Adjustable leg straps keep the jacket in place without restricting movement, so your dog can run, play, and enjoy the rain - while you skip the messy clean-up afterward. Say goodbye to wet-dog smell and endless towel-drying.

Washing instructions: Cold / warm gentle wash in the washing machine, it is recommended to put in our wash bag if possible to avoid any damage to the clips. Alternatively you could hand wash. Do not tumble dry.

Our laminated outer fabric has been independently tested to a hydrostatic head of over 20,000 mm H₂O (ISO 811:2018), placing it in the high-performance waterproof category suitable for heavy, persistent rain.
I hesitated over buying this jacket for ages … I think I looked at it & checked the reviews about four times! So glad I took the leap of faith as it’s exactly what we needed. My old boy’s fur is thinning so wanted something to keep him warm as well as dry on walks. The fabric is great, the fit is perfect, I love the reflective stripes and also appreciate that it keeps his tummy dry as well as his back! Recommend!!
My Pointer is getting on in years and needed a coat to keep him warm at the farm and also dry. This fits the bill so so well! The length is perfect and the size xxl gives him room without feeling restricted. He is about 40kg for reference. Being winter in Melb, the coat got a bit wet and muddy but dried off quickly on the clothes airer. A brilliant product I will be recommending to everyone!

Great jacket, very good quality. Easy to put on/take off, looks nice and my pup seems to like it. I have used it in light rain and it kept him nice and dry. I have an English Springer Spaniel, I purchased the M, it fits well when he is sitting or standing straight but being a springer his nose is often to the ground so he could probably use the extra length of an L at the back (he is a big ESS) but the M still does the job!
This gorgeous raincoat fits our pointer so well. It’s great quality and she seems to like wearing it.

Highly recommend this jacket. Fits like a glove, waterproof and no slipping. Great for camping/ tramping trips where wet dogs in tent make poor company and our soggy winter river walks!

Our 14 year old Westie loves not getting wet staying warm on these cold & wet days. But also it stays in place & no Velcro so their skirt does not get caught up.
Jasper looks absolutely fantastic! He’s snug as a bug and stays completely dry, even though he’s a bit of a weirdo who loves standing out in the rain. This jacket does an amazing job of keeping him protected from the weather. I’ve tried many other brands in the past, but they would slip, loosen, or sit awkwardly on him throughout the day. This one stays securely in place and fits his body perfectly thanks to the design of the jacket. The quality and fit have really impressed me and I will be buying more :)
The water proof coat is a good lightweight yet warm enough for slightly cooler days when you want to keep your dog dry. My Rhodesian Ridgeback tolerated a walk in some significant rain despite normally disliking rain. I did have to change the plastic clip as she did chew through it when left unsupervised but an easy fix. But overall very impressed- good value and quality.
Great jacket, great quality and a size large fits our 11 month old Vizsla really well, with enough adjustment as he continues to grow.

This is the best jacket that I have ever bought for my Shitzu x foxy. Ted Also the best fitting jacket.
I purchased the size XL for my Lab/Mastiff (37kg) and it is the perfect fit with plenty of room for comfort.
Used it today for a walk in the pouring rain and he stayed more dry than I did! The Jacket is fantastic quality. Will definitely recommend to others !
